Lake Charters
Here at Salmon Heaven Lodge/ SRO we offer World Class
fishing charters on Lake Ontario and Oneida Lake. We begin fishing in the spring as soon as the ice is off the rivers fishing
for football size Brown Trout and then Walleye and Pike. In the summer months we continue to fish for Browns, Walleye and
Pike but also can fish for Lake trout & Bass. Towards the middle of the summer and into September we target King and Coho
Salmon. Our Captains include Captain Harry Powers and Captain Kevin Foster. Captain Harry has worked on fishing charters from
Cape May New Jersey to Anclote Key Florida to the Great Lakes since he was 16 years old. Harry has a 25 ton vessel Master
Coast Guard (#1157042) and commercial towing license for the Great Lakes, USA inland waters, near coastal waters as well as
being CPR, First Aid, and Boater Safety Certified, he is a licensed New York State Guide and a member of the New York and
Oswego County guide associations and the Altmar/ Albion business association. Captain Kevin has a 25 ton vessel 6-pack Coast
Guard (#3162955) license for the Great Lakes, USA inland waters, near coastal waters as well as being CPR, First Aid, and
Boater Safety Certified; he is a licensed New York State Guide, a member of the Oswego County guide associations and the Altmar/
Albion business association. Kevin has been walleye and bass fishing since 1991 and has been a first mate on Lake Ontario
for the last thee years before becoming a captain this year. At Salmon Heaven/ SRO we promise your trip will always be professional
and we will always work hard to insure the best trip possible. On Lake Ontario we fish on a 27' long, 10 ft. beam Penn Yan
and we fishing on a 20' long 8' beam Sylvan fishing vessel for Oneida Lake and other local lakes and bays. Both are fully
equipped with Down Riggers, Sonar, GPS, Temperature and Speed Sensors and Marine Radio. Our Penn Yan has a closed in cutty
cabin to get out of any bad weather as well as a head. Join us for a great day on the water!
